All fabrics in the Pet Collection feature a smooth surface with short fibers. This structure facilitates hair removal and prevents dirt, odors, and liquids from penetrating deeply into the fabric.
Simply use a lint brush on the surface to remove pet hair from the fabric. However, it is still advisable to monitor certain behaviors of our furry companions in order to prevent unavoidable damage to household upholstery. Some of our collections, such as Icaro, feature a special stain-resistant treatment that allows stains to be removed easily. In this case, simply pour water directly onto the surface to be cleaned or use a damp cloth and rub the stain with gentle circular motions until it is completely removed. For more stubborn stains, create a mixture of water and non-colored 90% denatured ethyl alcohol and repeat the process.
All fabrics in this category have been tested and comply with the snagging test* (BS 8479:2008 standard).
Alexa, part of our sustainable collections, is made from recycled polyester and features a water-repellent surface treatment.
Icaro, on the other hand, is a highly comfortable fabric with a treatment that makes it particularly easy to clean.
*This test mechanically simulates the scratching action of pets on fabric, assessing the tendency of yarns to snag, tear, and develop surface defects. All fabrics in the Pet Collection have achieved compliant results according to the test standards, confirming that—while still being textiles and therefore subject to wear—they offer good resistance to this type of damage and help prevent tearing.
